Last year I tried hard to keep my impulse buying under control and I can happily say that I managed quite well, only had a couple of makeup buys I didn't plan. I also can tell that I did better with my skin care and nine out of ten times I cleansed my face even when I wasn't wearing makeup on the day. In 2016 I want to be more careful with product ingredients in general and use facial SPF too. Here on the blog I'd love to post more consistently and improve my photo skills.
But moving on, today's post is about the products I truly loved in 2015!
Kiko Water Eyeshadow | 208 Light Gold - I don't remember using this as an eyeshadow last year but this was my favourite gold highlighter and I'm pretty sure I will be using it all the time this year too. Full review here.
Freedom Makeup Brow Pomade - All my life I used powder for my brows and never thought I will try anything else but at the end my curiosity won. And I'm so glad it did! I'm in love with this product, will post a review soon.
L'oréal Volume Million Lashes So Couture Mascara - For a very long time I thought nothing could be better than the Max Factor Clump Defy mascara. Then I saw a couple of reviews of this one and gave it a try. It was one of my best buys in 2015! Gives volume and curls nicely as well.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - This is a thicker concealer that is great for concealing both darkness and blemishes/scars and it's also very cheap. The downside is that there are four shades available and I personally need two of them to get the right colour for my skin tone. Full review here.
Essence Waterproof Gel Liner in black - I needed something for tightlining and it does the job for its low price. I must tell that I use it only on my upper waterline and it stays all day there although when I tried it on my waterline and lower lashes it did fade after a while.
Kiko Long Lasting Sticks - Love, love these cream eyeshadows. I was thinking a lot before I bought them, I really wasn't sure if I needed any more cream shadows... Well, I haven't used my Maybelline Color Tattoos since I've got these. Kiko's eyeshadow sticks are the perfect solution on those 'no time mornings'.
Milani Color Statement Lipstick | 25 Nude Creme - My favourite nude lipstick. That's it. Peachy, semi matte, fades evenly and suits me really well.
Sleek Matte Me Liquid Lipstick - The perfect mauve shade to me and unfortunately this is the only reason it can be on the list. The applicator isn't great, you can strictly apply it in one layer and lasts just averagely.
Soap & Glory Massage Glove - Never tried it for massages but it is a great alternative for brush cleaning gloves! It seriously makes my life much easier. I used to absolutely hate washing my makeup brushes and it led me not to wash them very often. I needed a glove that is effective and not too expensive, then I found this in Boots after I read about it on Glam O'Clock.
And lastly two very inexpensive brushes, both are from the same set from Amazon. One of them is a large fluffy blending brush, the other one is a small rounded brush that fits perfectly the under eye area. I had no problem with any of them, great quality, I would definitely recommend them.
