Although I'm doing well with finishing up stuff lately, in the last few weeks I feel like I need extra motivation to use some products therefore I decided to start a project pan.
First of all I think I have mentioned this before that I try not to pile up certain products. And yet I have three dry shampoos and four foundations in use at the moment... Maybe it doesn't sound a lot but to me it definitely does and I urgently feel the need to do something about it. I'm being fairly good at not buying new things this summer but there are a few skincare products I've got and can't wait to try but I must be strict and stop myself from opening them.
And of course there are loads of makeup as well that I have for way too long and it's time to seriously use and finish them up.
Starting off with hair stuff, the first on the list has to be the Boots Dry Shampoo which is pretty much the worst dry shampoo I've ever used. It does nothing and I can't even work it in my hair properly so no surprise why it's a misery to take it in my hands. Then I have the Superdrug Hair Mousse that I actually liked a lot, this is my second bottle of it but for some reason I haven't actually used in ages. I'm not sure if I need any mousse at all really, that's why I want to get rid of it so it's not taking the space anymore.
Moving on to face products, I have the Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating SOS Cleanser here that I tend to use only in the summer when I'm oily. I don't have less blackheads but when I have breakouts it helps to dry my spots quicker. I own it for over year now and I'd like to finish it this summer.
Himalaya Neem Mask, a deep cleansing clay mask that I hardly heard anything bad about but sadly I can't see any difference on my skin. Big disappointment and I was very silly when I bought two, lucky it's the second one.
Now makeup. I've got two foundations, firstly the L'oréal Infallible 24-H Matte. It is lightweight but quite drying and on dehydrated or dry skin it's obviously not great. I did struggle with dry skin this winter and spring but I like how it looks on my skin now, although I think it's far from high coverage.
The second one is the Maybelline Dream Velvet foundation which doesn't look right on my face, somewhat cakey plus it's not entirely matte. I can't imagine using this apart from the summer as it looks awful on even just slightly dehydrated skin.
Next one on the list is the MAC Blot Powder. I have absouletely no problem with it except that I bought it two summers ago and if I look at the label it says 6 months for expiration date. I normally apply it during the hot months that's why I still have half of it. I'm hoping it's not too late to use it up now.
The Freedom Makeup Pro Studio Fixing Spray is here for reminding me to use it before I would put it in a drawer and forget about it completely. It doesn't mattify but keeps everything together. To be honest I don't think it's a necessary item in my collection. Nice to have it but my makeup will look good without it too.
I have too many eyeliners and about the KIKO Super Colour Eyeliner I have the feeling that it's going to expire soon, however I haven't noticed any changes in consistency, odour etc.
And lastly my beloved Sleek Face Form Kit contour shade. I always use this when I do makeup looks for the blog but in the last couple of months I hardly touched it otherwise. A bit bored of it now but haven't got much left so it would be nice to finish it.
To get rid of all these products above I think I will give myself about two - two and a half months which should be plenty of time considering that apart from the hair mousse everything else is half empty at least. Hopefully in my next empties post I will be able to include all of them. How about you? Have you ever done a project pan? How did it go? :)
